Part 1: Creative developement

I conducted in-depth research into current event trends and emerging technologies, which informed the use of kinetic screens, a type of display that combines traditional LED panels with movement (from SQM Multimedia Solutions). This approach aligned with Hiscox’s objectives to be dynamic and engaging.

Following the research phase, the studio’s creative director developed the creative approach and direction, and after client approval, I assisted in producing detailed storyboards for the animations. I refined ideas while contributing my own additional creative input throughout the process, ensuring the movement of the kinetic screens was considered to maximise impact.

Part 2: Visual asset creation

Once the storyboards were approved, I supported the production of visual assets for use by the motion designer and on the stand itself. This involved editing imagery, creating and preparing graphic elements, and applying Hiscox’s signature red to ensure strong brand consistency and visual clarity across the final animation and stand experience. Below is a selection of assets I worked on.

Part 3: Animated social media banners

I also created animated social media assets for employees to use on LinkedIn to help promote the event in the run-up. This included developing visuals around the “Bringing the Love to BIBA” concept and translating the campaign idea into engaging motion content for social channels, as well as re-purposing existing campaign content.
